Join us on Saturday October 19th starting at 8 PM in our beer garden for a complimentary, special interactive showing of Rocky Horror Picture show.
Dawn on your fishnets and grab your friends as this is going to be rocking good time.
Emerald Republic Brewery’s second screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show will be an immersive guest experience that puts a new spin on an old midnight movie cult classic.
Some basic ground rules of the Emerald Manor for this showing:
1. Traditionally props are used throughout the movie, including but not limited to rice, newspapers, flashlights, etc. To preserve the integrity of our beer garden our personal Dr.Frank-N-Furter has asked that we keep this showing prop free. Anyone who attempts to throw rice or anything else that can cause damage to the beer garden, the projector equipment, or the audience will be ejected from the showing in true Rocky Horror theme fashion. We mean it – please no rice, no tomatoes, etc! 𝐍𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆!
2. Before the show we 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 hold a traditional Virgin sacrifice ritual for all newbies. We won’t make you do anything, but we will have red lipstick “V”s for all those who want to advertise that they are fresh meat!
3. After the Virgin sacrifice ritual we will be holding a costume contest for best dressed. In traditional Rocky Horror style the costume contenst will not be broken into gender but into creativity and winner will be voted by audience cheers. Couples and group costumes are encouraged.
4. While the manor at Emerald Republic is an all ages space please use your best judgements when bringing families to this event. This event will be showing a rated “R” movie that will have strong adult themes include suggestive sexual themes, alcohol usage, and language. This event may not be appropriate for kids.
5. Our beer garden is a dog friendly space, however, this night we encourage you to leave Fido at home as we expecting a large crowd with lots of dancing and we want all of our guest to be able to enjoy themselves.
This event is complementary and free to watch. Arrive early to sign up for the costume contest. The event will start promptly at 8 PM in our beer garden.
